Carbon 60 Olive Oil

Buckminsterfullerene, buckyballs, or C60 is a powerful antioxidant that has effects on unsaturated fats.  A review of scientific research has shown that C60 has longevity and antioxidant effects given its scavenging capacity for reactive oxygen species.  Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been found to be an excellent carrier for C60 due to the high concentration of Polyphenols in the Olive Oil that provide the ability for the C60 molecule to form adducts with the Polyphenols.  C60 presumably is then able to migrate to the inside of cellular mitochondria and decouple the electron transport chain in the mitochondria, thereby providing the ability to protect cells from Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).
